Those manual perspective correction sliders can be used to ‘fine tune’ the resulting image when necessary. Users manually draw 2 to 4 guide lines on the photo, which the software uses to transform the image via Upright.

Guided Upright adds a semi-automated function to an existing feature, using guides drawn by the user to apply perspective corrections. Lightroom CC and Camera Raw 9.6 users, however, also get a new feature called Guided Upright that reduces/eliminates keystone effects in buildings, straightens images and fixes horizons.
